Since the early formation of the firm, engineering services have been provided in all facets of the mining industry. Fundamentally, the firm was close to the bituminous coal fields of Western Pennsylvania and, as such, our engineers were the only professionals in this area trained and educated in mining and qualified to offer surface and deep mining services to many of the early mining companies. The expertise of the original founders has not been forgotten. The techniques and procedures have been passed along to a younger generation of engineers who are thoroughly trained in the art and science of mining engineering. Our more recent service and experience focus on the design and permitting of industrial minerals (coal and non-coal) in keeping with the requirements of the state and federal government. Our civil engineering staff and geologist are available to assist mining companies when they need advice, an expert second opinion, |
or to explore the costs involved in the design
