PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project consists of purchasing one large size, high speed carrier vehicle and rotary plow to serve as the primary snow blower for the airport. The existing combination snow blower is fourteen years old, is obsolete, the manufacturer is no longer in business, and repair parts are becoming difficult to obtain. The airport plans to use the existing unit as a backup for the primary blower if necessary.

 Following are approximate items and quantities for the base bid and Alternate No. 1:

 BASE BID – MULTIPURPOSE CARRIER VEHICLE, 4,000 TPH ROTARY PLOW; AND 20  FOOT RUNWAY PLOW ATTACHMENTS

 DEDUCT ALTERNATE NO. 1 – DEDUCT TO DELETE 20 FOOT RUNWAY PLOW 
 ATTACHMENT ONLY (NO CHANGE TO CARRIER VEHICLE, PLOW CONTROLS
